Ignore Invalid Shapes Machine Option (Toggle)
Because conveyors sometimes combine when trying to place them near each other, modules sometimes end up on existing lines they are not meant for. To correct this, you have to either delete every belt with an incorrect item, or "rebuild" the belts individually to reset. Machines also get "jammed" and require to be "reset" (multiple times if you didn't clean up the chain prior), also requiring you to rebuild the desired output. A toggle option (checkbox etc, similar to the auto upgrade on buildings) on key machines to ignore/delete bad shapes after they've only after they've been configured would be extremely useful when retrofitting existing builds.
I wouldn't want it to be a player workaround for the existing trash can functionality/limitation, so maybe have it exist as part of existing tech tree upgrades past that point on applicable machines. Deleting the item outright (once toggled) puts the 'cost' on the user for their decision.

Azrien@workingkills yeah with z you can clear belts, but you do have to reset the machine in the case an item you didn't want gets placed inside, so its still a good suggestion.

Thomas Preudhomme AdminWe added the fact that the clear belt tool also clears any unwanted leftovers in the operators, making this very easy to solve hopefully. Leaving this suggestion under consideration though to have a "destroy wrong inputs" option
