Improving Camera Angles in Map & Operators
Playtest in the Map: The current camera system allows full 360° rotation in map view. The tilt angle, however, is limited. At close zoom, it ranges roughly from 20°/30° up to 90° (a welcome improvement from the Demo, where a top-down view was not possible). When zooming out, the tilt range narrows to about 60°/70° up to 90°, reducing overall visibility.
Playtest inside Operators (Cutter/Assembler/Stamper): Both rotation and tilt are considerably restricted, making it hard to visualize, especially in the assembler when stacking complex module parts (Rotate and Tilt tooltip make this even harder as it cover the module you are trying to assemble).
Suggestion: Could the tilt range be improved/expanded to provide better visibility on the map and inside operators?
Overall, the playtest feels like a significant step forward compared to the Demo on this behaviour. Thank you, Dev team!

Hi David. Playing the demo now and loving it.
I understand the performance reasons. However, it remains quite limited and the player should be able to decide based on their rig.
My personal suggestion:
Insert a checkbox in the graphic settings to enable/disable a totally free camera.
If enabled, highlight a notification that warns the player that, depending by the amount of items on screen in the angle of the camera, the performance could be impacted. -

David Prinsmel AdminWe restrict some tilt angles because of performance reasons but will continue to improve this as much as possible
