Quick Un-equip (QOL)
Instead of pressing esc or right mouse button to un-equip, just press the same key again.
example: Pressing 1 would equip belts, pressing it again would unequip it.
It's funny how this was the single most disturbing thing for me during playtesting.

Mr.Shaky™ICYMI many of the number keys already cycle between related tools for each press. (2=tunnel/skyline, 3=split/sort/overflow, 4=miner/extractor/rig...)
I had the opposite problem in putting down overflow splitters or sorters instead of a standard splitter.
