no trash/ waste mode
A gamemode or setting to turn of trashing. this would disable the trashcan but also the autotrashing of machines with multiple outputs when 1 is full or not connected. This is to increase the difficulty because you would have to keep deadlocks into consideration. (don't know what you would do with the trash belt tool tho since mistakes happen but it could be abused).

ChronoTactIXJust an FYI (not trashing the idea) given the first comment, You can recycle scrap thru the furnace, so you can create your own challenge made to not waste parts! Just send the extras into a furnace.
That said, you could also find ways to not waste parts. Many of the modular families are made specifically to have similar parts - if you want a challenge (this is how most of my blueprints work), try to rethink how you're creating each part so you can maximize the voxels.
I personally like the game has the ability to "create your own hard mode" and not sure (for me) a challenge mode is specifically needed just yet. But that's what this forums about!
