  I 2nd this. Also, different control modes (a 6-axis free cam) wouldn't go amiss either.

  Even if not going for full free cam, I would like to add to this being able to tilt the camera slightly more up towards the horizon when zoomed out. Currently zooming out forces the camera to tilt downwards, which counterintuitively lets you see a shorter distance ahead than when you were zoomed in

  Hello ! We added a setting to be able to zoom out further. This may affect performance though hence the necessity of making it a setting ! We are looking into ways to make it even further and / or having more freedom in camera tilt etc. This is another suggestion though so I'm closing this one and feel free to upvote the one about free camera or photo mode !

  I'd love even more zoom out! I wanna see my entire factory!
  Although perhaps to maintain performance at that point one would probably need to work with LODs on the models and/or omit rendering conveyor belt contents and rework a lot of things so I understand if it's too much work.

  the issue is marked as "done", but as of May 28th 2026 version, as far as I can tell, we still cannot zoom out more than one island.
  I also would like to be able after a hard day of optimizing my factory, to be able to sit back, zoom out and admire all my islands being green (and maybe take a screenshot to brag to my friends)
