Facilities overhaul

Since the game is about automation; scalability and modular building should be a pretty big factor like in other entries in this genre. Some features seem to be a bit contradicting to this philosophy at the moment. That's why I'm suggesting to change how facilities work.
Currently the production of a facility is increased by upgrading it to get more products out of it but you don't need more items as input to get these more items as output. Since there seems to be no production limit right now, my suggestion would be to make the facilities output dependent on their input. So if you put 4 lines of items in instead of 2 lines of items, the production should be doubled. (See picture)
In addition I think it would be interesting, if the number of cranes a building has correlates with its level. So a level one facility has 3/4 cranes, a level two facility has double that so 6/8 cranes and a level three again double that so 12/16 cranes. (Also doubling the possible production capability.)
